Sam Tito
Sam Tito has always been an artist at heart, spending years drawing and taking college-level art classes before tattooing ever entered the picture. After moving to Danbury, friends and family encouraged her to give tattooing a shot - and what started as a little bit of fear quickly turned into a career she loves.
Sam’s work draws from woodcut and American Traditional tattooing, with a love for bold blackwork, blackout pieces, florals, whimsical animals, and imagery that gets a little weird. She especially loves medieval-inspired designs and pin-ups, and she’s always excited when she gets the chance to combine those influences into something unexpected. Large-scale pieces, smaller tattoos, and everything in between are welcome.
For Sam, tattooing is a collaboration. She loves sitting down with a client, talking through their ideas, and figuring out how to bring everything together into a piece that feels right. Her goal is simple: make great art and make sure the person in her chair feels cared for while getting it.
When she's not tattooing, Sam is usually drawing, painting, or working out at the gym. And yes - she's a lefty. Apparently, people are still fascinated by this.
Come with an idea, a weird concept, or a blank slate. Sam's ready to build something with you.
